Greetings to all District 20 Raskin supporters!

The election is now looming ahead of us with little time left to build the momentum we need to send Jamie to Annapolis. We are now gearing up for the massive grassroots outreach phase of the campaign that will make this happen, and we're urging every one of you to jump in and join the fun!

We need your time, enthusiasm, special interests and skills at whatever level you can offer. Some of the tasks are simple (stuffing envelopes), some are more complicated (helping organize your precinct), but all are guaranteed to be time well spent! At a minumum, we're hoping everyone will sign up to be a block captain to help introduce Jamie to your neighbors and serve as our eyes, ears, and mouthpiece in your community.

Below is a list of some of the areas in which we need volunteers immediately:

• Block captains and precinct coordinators (I'll be happy to explain the details of this one by phone, but in a nutshell, this will require a more steady commitment and ongoing communications with the field team from now until the primaries Sept. 12). The minimum we're asking from captains is to join us for one neighborhood canvass, sign a letter of endorsement, and let your neighbors know about upcoming Raskin events.
• Evening or weekend canvassing (neighborhood walks) with Jamie
• Apartment building organizing (if you live in secured apartment buildings or have friends who do, please call me right away)
• Flyering/ lit drops/ phone banking/visibility at events (these activities are more variable in times and locations, but it would be helpful to know whom to call in each region for this type of activity).
• Hosting a houseparty for Jamie in your neighborhood

The field team will be making calls over the coming weeks to mobilize and coordinate the enormous talent and volunteer energy so many of you have offered the campaign. It will help us a great deal if you send an e-mail or give a call to let us know that you wish to be contacted.
